Southern, Tristan Alan Joel 2Tristan Alan Joel Southern (6 weeks) of McCoy, VA. Tristan came into this world a legend on June 16, 2026, and though he was only here to bless us with his presence for a short time he left his impact on the world. He left this world a legend on August 1, 2026.

He is survived by his Parents: Natasha Bryant (24) and Alan (AJ) Southern (31) of McCoy, VA. Siblings: Cabella Southern, August Lephew, Emily Bryant, and Liliana Southern. Grandparents: Brandyne Moorefield and Rob Ramey, Eric and April Bryant, and Bobby Southern. Aunts and Uncles: Allie Moorefield, Buddy Womack, Austin Dowdy, Jamie Southern, Jacob Dowdy, and Angel Owens. Tristan had many cousins and great aunts and uncles.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Christina Sowers, great-grandparents Douglas and Constance Bryant, Alan and Dreama Southern, Joel (Jr) and Hope May, and uncle, Nathanael Ellison.

We write this in honor of Tristan’s memory so everyone will remember his sweet name. May he forever play amongst the angels.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 4:30 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 510 Porter Street, Blacksburg, Virginia 24060.
