Turpin, Mary Hamblin

Mary Hamblin Turpin, 82, of Parrott, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer Samuel and Helen Kimbleton Hamblin; great-grandson, Lucas Marks Turpin; sister, Goldie Roan; and her brothers, Bobby and Carl Hamblin.

Survivors include her son, Tony Wayne Turpin; daughters, Lisa Kay Turpin (Rick) and Hope Marie Turpin; 5 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous other family members and special friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Parrott Church of God. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Eddie Dalton and Kenneth Alley officiating. Interment will follow in Sifford Cemetery in Parrott.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
