Simpkins, Donnie Ray

Donnie Ray Simpkins, of Radford, Virginia, passed away in Radford on November 1, 2026. He was born on October 13, 1946, in Radford, and spent his life connected to the community where he was born.

Donnie worked as an associate at Goodwill Industries. He will also be remembered for the enjoyment he found in hunting and fishing, interests that brought him pleasure through the years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Dolly Richardson Simpkins, and by his half-brothers, George Duncan and William Duncan.

Donnie is survived by his brothers, Johnny Simpkins (Jean) and Jimmy Duncan. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved him.
