Park Like a VIP All Year 2The YMCA at Virginia Tech is inviting students and community supporters to enter its annual Parking Raffle, featuring an exclusive VIP parking space conveniently located at the YMCA Lancaster House—a rare and highly valued amenity near the Virginia Tech campus and downtown Blacksburg.

This premium parking space will be valid for one full academic year, from August 10, 2026, through May 15, offering the winner reliable, close‑to‑campus parking throughout the school year. The raffle winner will receive an official parking hang tag for their vehicle. (Please note: the vehicle must be moved for Virginia Tech home football games and YMCA events as needed.)

The raffle drawing will be held on Friday, May 15, at 4:00 p.m. at the Y Center, located at 1000 N. Main Street, Blacksburg, VA 24060. It is not necessary to be present to win.

Raffle tickets are affordably priced to boost access and participation:
$5 for one ticket
$20 for a bundle of five tickets

Only 2,000 tickets have been printed and made available for purchase. Tickets can be purchased online at https://vtymca.org/student-parking-raffle/

Beyond the convenience and exclusivity of VIP parking, the raffle supports an important cause. All proceeds benefit the YMCA at Virginia Tech and its wide‑reaching community outreach efforts, including anti‑hunger programs, after‑school children’s programs, resources and services for international, and other essential community services.

“This raffle combines a high‑demand student need with meaningful community impact,” said a YMCA representative. “Every ticket sold helps fund programs that serve individuals and families throughout the New River Valley and beyond.”

Participants are encouraged to secure their tickets early for a chance to win this exclusive VIP parking space while making a lasting difference in the community.
