Notice of Hydrant Flushing

Beginning Monday, May 4th, The Water/Wastewater Department will begin hydrant flushing at the following addresses:
1,600 – 2,200 blocks of 7th St.
500 – 700 blocks of Ingles St.
500 – 600 blocks of Barton St.
1,700 – 2,100 blocks of 5th St.
Summit Ridge
700 – 1,100 blocks of Forest Ave.
Smith Dr.
Jordan Ave.
2300 block of 8th St.
Walnut Ln
Inglewood Dr.
Mountain View Ln.
800 block of Rock Rd West

Residents in that area may experience low water pressure and possibly some discoloration. It is recommended that if anyone has seen discolored water to flush their system through the bathtub. If discolored water persists after 4pm, contact the Water/Wastewater department at 540-267-3149. If not answered, please leave a message.
