Miller, Mark Andrew
Mark Andrew Miller, age 64, of Dorchester, WI, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at his home with his wife Sandy and family by his side. Born February 2, 1962, in Marshfield, WI, he was the son of the late Louis and Sally Ruby Miller. He was one of four boys, Steve, Randy (Scooby), Rob, and himself. Mark graduated from Colby High School in 1982.
Mark worked with his brothers, Steve and Randy (Scooby), in the drywall business for several years. He also worked in St. George, Utah, at one of the two concrete plants in the crushing plant. He also spent a short time working in the Phoenix, Arizona area. After a while, he moved to Virginia close to his brother, Steve. In Virginia, he worked in the construction field for quite a while on apartment units and other projects.
Mark married Sandy in 2004. They lived in Sterling, VA, until recently moving to Peterstown, WV. Mark continued doing construction projects and working on cars. Mark enjoyed working on cars quite a bit and especially liked fast cars. He also enjoyed teaching young kids how to do things for themselves.
Mark was a very intelligent man who could do just about anything well. He would say it’s better to be a jack of all trades than a master of one! Never a man of few words, he had so much knowledge that he wanted to share every detail.
He was kind, caring, and always soft-spoken. He wasn’t easy to rattle and always remained calm, cool, and collected. He was always just a phone call away if you need his help, and he will be missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his stepson, Jonathan Rhodes; and brother, Randy (Scooby) Miller.
Mark is lovingly survived by his wife, Sandra Bryant Miller. Also surviving is one stepdaughter, Samantha Hipsley; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
Mark was never called dad or grandpa, he was just Mark of Marky-Mark.
At Mark’s request, he was cremated. His ashes will be divided between his wife and best friend, Tony Ola of Wisconsin. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
