Howard V. Saunders, 76 of Willis, passed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow & Pauline Saunders; brothers, Benjamin David Saunders, and Fletcher L. Saunders.

He is survived by his brothers, Walter P. Saunders, Bruce L. Saunders; and sister, Evelyn G. Saunders.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Matthew Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery with last call by the Floyd County Volunteer Fire Department. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
