Ostendorf, Jean Glockner

Jean Ann Ostendorf, age 81, of Rich Creek, VA, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Born on January 12, 1945, in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry Glockner, Jr. and Virginia Irene Snyder Glockner.

Jeanie worked as a beautician at the Total Looks Salon for 14 years. She loved crocheting and working puzzles. She always made people laugh, and was a great decorator and an outstanding cook when she was able.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sandy Baggensen.

Jeanie is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Ray Ostendorf; daughter, Becky Wills; son, Grump Wills and wife Veronica; stepdaughter, Mona Muehlendyck and husband John; three grandchildren, Anthony Hunter Wills, Amber Dawn Wills, and Brandon Wills and wife Ashley; two step grandchildren, Amy and Tessa; two great grandchildren, Olivia Wills and Hadley Wills; two step great grandchildren, Maddy and Audrey; and several nieces and nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV, with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating. Burial will follow at the Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA. Visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
