Moran, Carlene Vaughan

Carlene Vaughan Moran, 82 of Floyd, passed away on February 3, 2026.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clayton Moran; daughters & sons-in-law, Teresa & Roger Harris, Angie & Dale Pruitt, and Kimberly & Kenny Basham; grandchildren, Sarah & Albert Keith, Jamison Howell, Valerie Moran, and Shaun Basham; great-grandchildren, Serena, Miya & Maximus Keith, and Kaidyn Church; special niece, Janet Rorrer; and special caregivers, Margaret Harris, Sheila Janney, Gwen Howell, Ann Bower, and Mountain Valley Hospice.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lee Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
