Minor III, Thomas Oliver

Thomas Oliver Minor III, 66, of Shawsville passed away on February 17, 2026. Affectionately known as Tom to everyone whom loved him. Tom had a profound love for God, the USA and his family, precisely in that order.

Tom graduated from Lee Davis High School. Worked at Price Club tire center. Tom served 15 years as a Law Enforcement Officer in Henrico County, Richmond City and Montgomery County.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Thomas O. Minor II and Marjorie Minor. Loved ones who will forever cherish his memory are his wife of 23 years, Jennifer. His sister in law, Leslie (Kenneth) VanAuken; sister Judy (Scott) Milliron; niece Stephanie (Will); nephew Austin; cousin Annie; Step sister, Kathliene; special family, Jose and Jessica Gomez, Xavier, Josiah, Jay; special friends Janice, Wayne and Kim Collins. As well as a sister and two sons.

After Tom retired, he became an over the road truck driver. Tom thoroughly enjoyed sports, especially football. He loved the Washington Redskins and Tennessee Vols. Tom loved all his fur babies past and present. He enjoyed long rides through the country often driving slow to intentionally find the wildlife he enjoyed watching. Tom enjoyed the ocean, nature, and Nascar racing.
