Griffith Get Out the Vote Tour
Congressman Morgan Griffith is expanding his Get Out the Vote tour across Virginia’s Ninth Congressional District, adding three new stops and bringing his election week swing to 20 stops over five days. With Election Day just one week away, Griffith is pressing forward with an even more aggressive schedule, adding visits to Martinsville, Patrick County, and Floyd County on Wednesday, October 28.
This expanded election week schedule reflects a record of accessibility, hard work, and a willingness to go wherever necessary to hear directly from constituents. As voters prepare to head to the polls, Griffith is making one thing clear: no community is too far, and no part of the Ninth District will be overlooked.
The expanded tour builds on that record, taking Griffith’s message directly to voters across the district ahead of the November 3 election.

The writer is obviously on the right.
Look at his schedule. He’s only stopping for 15-30 mins. It’s purely a time for him to take a photo and move on! What a joke!
October 28, 2026 @ 3:03 pm
Hilarious!!! This is, actually, poor reporting. How can he listen to anyone in a 15 to 30 min stop?
Obviously, the writer is on the right.
Why not report on what he says he’s doing vs what he’s done?
Morgan Griffith should not get another term in Congress. Here is why, with receipts.
He does not show up. By his own words, he has not done a brick and mortar town hall in more than ten years. His constituents held an empty chair town hall in Abingdon because he would not come. He skipped the Wytheville candidate forum and turned down a debate with Joy Powers. A congressman who will not face his own voters has no business keeping the job.
He tried to throw out your vote. After January 6, he voted to throw out Arizona’s and Pennsylvania’s certified electors, signed onto the Texas lawsuit trying to overturn the election, and voted against impeachment, an independent commission, and the select committee to investigate the attack.
He protected the Epstein files. He voted to block the release vote in July 2025 and never signed the discharge petition to force it. The files only came out after Congress passed the Transparency Act 427 to 1.
He voted to gut health care. He voted for the One Big Beautiful Bill, which the Congressional Budget Office says cuts about $911 billion from Medicaid and CHIP and leaves about 10 million more people uninsured.
And follow the money. Through October 14, Griffith raised $2.17 million. Joy Powers raised $256,600. That is an 8.4 to 1 gap. Over his career he has raised more than $8 million, with his top contributors including Norfolk Southern at $83,900, the National Auto Dealers Association at $80,000, Dominion Energy at $77,913, Koch Inc at $75,000, and Altria at $70,000.
That is not representation. That is a seat rented out to donors by a man who will not even show up to defend his record. Southwest Virginia deserves a congressman who answers to voters, not to Norfolk Southern and Dominion. Vote him out.

He doesn’t want to hear from the constituents until now.
While Trump is out there stumping for GOP candidates with the very unusual approach of saying that it’s super cool you’re paying more for fuel because oil companies are making big money from it, he skipped over the fact that he personally is making big money from it.
At the end of 2025, Trump’s oil and gas holdings were worth somewhere between $12.6 million and $46 million. Now? Between $22.5 million and $81.6 million. Yes, that’s a huge range, thanks to the very loose vibes of financial disclosure requirements.
Cuts to healthcare, education, and food benefits directly affect the 9th District.

Exactly!
It’s good to see that others understand that after over a decade of hurting the 9th, that he needs to go.
Yet, these ridiculous loyalists (like this writer) will continue to put the unworthy and corrupt in seats they don’t deserve.
Did you see the schedule times? 15-30 min stops? So he’s doing is taking pictures with fans.

Are you just a Griffith shill? Interesting that he’s going to Bristol and Radford but avoids Blacksburg.
