Peckham, April Dawn

April Dawn Peckham, 52, of Pembroke, passed away on April 27, 2026 at the Sheila Strauss Hospice House. She worked as the inside outside lawn and garden supervisor at Lowes in Fairlawn.

April was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Smith and Patricia Trump. She is survived by her husband, Skip Peckham; son, Levi Caldwell; daughter, Kelsey Peckham (Koty Ridga); sisters, Charlene Mitchell (Cameron) and Michelle Dowdy; 6 nieces and nephews; longtime family friend Susan Blankenship and dogs, Sampson and Zeus. April had many close friends at Lowes, especially her work buddy Parker Nester.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 1 from 4:00 to 6 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home.
