VDOT Safety Improvements in Fairlawn

TRAFFIC ALERT – PULASKI COUNTY: ROUTE 11 AT ROUTE 114 (PEPPERS FERRY ROAD) INTERSECTION SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS
Weather permitting, beginning Monday, May 4, motorists may encounter traffic pattern changes and periodic lane closures with detours as safety improvements begin at the intersection of Route 11 (Lee Highway) and Route 114 (Peppers Ferry Road).

For the month of May, daytime lane closures will be limited to the hours between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., and overnight between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Starting in June, construction activity will increase while schools are out for the summer.

Motorists should pay attention to electronic message boards in the area. Expected completion is summer 2027.
