Thanksgiving Schedules

Blacksburg: Wednesday, November 23
Town administrative offices will close at 12pm.
The Blacksburg Community Center will close at 5pm.
Blacksburg Transit will operate on modified reduced service.

Thursday, November 24
Town administrative offices will be closed.
The Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will be closed.
There will be no Blacksburg Transit service.
There will be no trash pickup for the NE quadrant. Makeup service will be on Saturday, November 26.

Friday, November 25
Town administrative offices will be closed.
The Blacksburg Community Center and Aquatic Center will be closed.
Blacksburg Transit will operate at modified reduced service and BT offices will be closed.

Christiansburg: In relation to the Thanksgiving holiday: Solid waste normally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23, will be collected Monday, Nov. 21, along with Monday’s regular collection. Solid waste normally scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 24, will be collected Tuesday, Nov. 22, along with Tuesday’s regular collection. Solid waste normally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 25, will be collected Monday, Nov. 28, along with Monday’s regular collection.. The Christiansburg Connection previously misstated the collection dates.

Town Hall will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 23, through Friday, Nov. 25. The Aquatic and Recreation Centers will be open on Wednesday, Nov. 23, but administrative offices will be closed. Both facilities will be closed Thursday, Nov. 24, and Friday, Nov. 25.

Radford: Trash Collection
Wednesday, November 23: Collected on Monday, November 28.
Thursday, November 24: Collected on Tuesday, November 29.
Friday, November 25: Collected on Wednesday, November 30.
