Miller, Nettie Thornton

Nettie Carmell Miller, age 90, of Riner, formerly of Pilot, died on December 21, 2024. She was born on January 16, 1934, in Pulaski County to the late Frank and Minnie Hollandsworth Thornton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Charles Miller and her son, Kevin Charles Miller. She also was preceded in death by her brother Oden Thornton and wife Louise; her brother Garnett Thornton and wife Margaret; her brother Johnny Thornton; her sister Diane Sheppard

She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Miller Smith, and daughter-in-law, Susan Miller. She had eight grandchildren, Russell Smith (Jeana King), Cassie Winfrey (Cory), Shannon Denene Hannon (Peter), Stacie Smith, Michael Silcox, Vickie Griggs (Patrick), Melissa Miller (Larry Smith), Bridget Miller (Bernie Epperly), 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted December 26th, 2024, at 2:00 pm at McCoy Funeral Home with Buford Linkous and Leon Alley officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm on December 26th at McCoy Funeral Home.
