Lyons, Annie Arnold

Annie Lois Arnold Lyons, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on September 9, 1937, in Wythe County, VA to the late Deck Dillon and Maggie Gladys Arnold.

She was preceded in death by her husband and sweetheart of nearly 70 years, James Pendleton Lyons, Sr.; her oldest son, James Pendleton “Jimmy” Lyons Jr.; grandson, Christopher Monday; brothers, Claude McNeil “Mac” Arnold, Charles Lee Arnold, Edward Arnold, and Samuel Houston Arnold ; sisters, Mittie Ellen Arnold and Sarah Mae Martin; and a special sister-in-law, Pat Arnold.

Left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Robin Gayle Lyons and a son, Steven Trevor Lyons (Lala); daughter-in-law, Kim Lyons; grandchildren, Carrie Monday, Beth McGee (Michael) , Robby Lyons (Tiffani) and Aurora Lyons; great grandchildren, Madalynne, Christian, Emma, Elliott, Noah, Aubrey and Taylor; brothers, Larry Arnold (Lindsey), and William Arnold (Patti); and a sister, Debbie Arnold; special sisters-in-law, Iris Williams, Maxine Lyons, Anita Dean, Lou Ann Lyons and Jean Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 11 am with Pastor Theron Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin.
