His songs range from roadhouse workouts to contemplative blues, with lyrics unpretentiously poetic and down to earth, touched with humor and sympathy.
Opening the evening is DownRiver Collective, one of the most electrifying new forces in American roots music fueled by boundary-pushing arrangements, razor-sharp dynamics, and a shared devotion to the craft. Silas Hamilton, from Asheville, North Carolina, is a young pedal steel phenom that will be joining the band for this special event.
