Griffith Statement on U.S.-Iran Ceasefire
According to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, the United States of America has agreed to a two-week ceasefire with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The two sides will work out a 10-point proposal and allow for the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
In response to this news, U.S. Congressman Morgan Griffith (R-VA) issued the following statement:
“President Trump is to be commended for reaching a ceasefire agreement with Iran. Thanks to the great efforts of U.S. armed forces, Iran has been crippled and has been forced to the negotiating table.
“I support negotiations that lead to Iran never having nuclear capabilities.
“Also, I am praying for the Americans who gave their lives for their country and for their families. Their service is to be commended.”

WE LOVE YA Morgan! Thanks for representing the REAL majority of Virginia!
It’s funny how these liberal TDS-heads pretend to care about Iranians, but say nothing about the 50,000 citizens that the evil Iranian regime just slaughtered for simply protesting in the streets for freedom and Liberty. At best, it just shows the American left ether has no idea what they’re talking about, or at its worst just exposes their hypocrisy.
YOU keep doing what you’re doing Morgan.. we’ll do out part and vote NO to “stop the steal!”, and back our president to take these bad guys out who have been kidnapping and killing our people since 1979.

Israel bombing Lebanon today and Trump said he didn’t make a peace deal. This administration is chaos and confusion.
Iran decimated and reduced to a sling shot with a rubber band. Within 24 hours of that statement; 1-2-3 US military planes shot down.
Russia is supplying Iran with Intel and drones to fight our military. . The president said no oil to Cuba or suffer his wrath. Russia delivers oil to Cuba. No wrath.

You are such a do-nothing, Morgan. Congress has completely and embarrassingly failed our country. Do better.
