Mann, Kenneth Eugene
Kenneth Eugene Mann, age 88, of Cooks Run Road, Lindside WV, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Kenneth was born on January 22, 1937, to the late Preston Allen Mann and Mary Elizabeth Dillon Mann.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Rhonda Fay Mann and Drema Kay Cox; a brother, Roy Allen Mann; and three sisters, Anna Lee (Mann) Wright, Dorothy Katherine Lucas, and Freda Mae Belcher.
He was a man who loved the simple, honest joys of life. If it involved a ball, he was ready to play, watch, or talk about it. Sports were a lifelong passion and a source of endless enjoyment. When he wasn’t playing or watching a game, you could find him in the fields or the woods, doing what he loved just as much: farming the land and hunting. He had a deep appreciation for hard work, the outdoors, and the quiet satisfaction that comes from providing and building something with his own hands. His life was marked by dedication, grit, and a love for the traditions that shaped him.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Roger Keith Mann; daughter, Bettina Mann Perkins (David); eight grandchildren, Rachel Young (Emmanuel), Danielle Martin (Andrew), Carlin Williams (Andrew), Sorsha Crawford (Michael), Randon Perkins, Tabetha Hollie (Ben), Justin Cox (Lauren) and Audra Kanode (Ramey); and fifteen great grandchildren, Rylee Young, Eden Young, Addison Young, Colwyn Martin, Lennox Martin, Graydon Martin, Layla Williams, Lyric Williams, Ava Hollie, Sawyer Hollie, Hazel Cox, Koi Evans, Gabriella Mann, Emma Mann and Morgan Kanode.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HospiceCare of West Virginia (223 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901).
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home in Peterstown, WV. Burial will follow at Keaton Cemetery in Greenville, WV. Visitation will be held from 1:00PM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
