Winfrey, Lisa Ann

Lisa Ann Winfrey, age 57, left this world on December 27, 2024, after an extended illness. Born on January 25, 1967, in Union, she grew up in Rock Camp. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Vera Martin and John Howard Winfrey, and her stepmother, Thelma Workman Winfrey.

She had two sisters, Donna Spangler (Keith) of Cashmere, and Julie Welfel (Kris) of Peterstown. She had two brothers, Bryan Winfrey of Floyd, Va, and Kenneth Alan Winfrey (Sally) of Lascassas, Tn. She had numerous nieces and nephews. Lisa was also blessed to have an extended family at the Glenwood Rd. Rescare Home in Princeton, WV, where she had lived for over 20 years.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the Broyles-Shrewsbury Funeral Home. The service will start at 1:00 p.m. Anyone with stories about Lisa are encouraged to share them. Graveside rites will take place immediately afterwards at the Mt. View Cemetery in Wikel.
