Winter Weather Advisory 2A WINTRY MIX EXPECTED SUNDAY. Temperatures will support a mixture of freezing rain, sleet, and snow as an area of low pressure moves northeast through the northern Mid-Atlantic. Precipitation is expected to be primarily in the form of freezing rain, but there may be mixed snow and sleet at times, especially this morning. Anticipate potential impacts to travel for areas where temperatures are below 32 degrees.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY…

* WHAT…Freezing rain, mixed with sleet or snow at times. Total ice accumulation of one to two tenths of an inch. Total snow and sleet
accumulations of an inch or less.

* WHERE…Portions of southwest and west central Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN…From 3 AM to 7 PM EST Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. Ice may also accumulate on trees.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A wintry mix is possible, with freezing rain being the main precipitation type where temperatures are below
freezing.
