Hollandsworth, Harold Jabe

Harold Jabe Hollandsworth, 88, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 with his family by his side. He was born on March 27, 1936 to Fred Howard and Augusta Sutphin Hollandsworth, both of whom precede him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin Hollandsworth and Kirby Hollandsworth; and sisters, Delphie Quesenberry, Bertie Cox, and Elizabeth Hollandsworth.

Harold proudly served in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Phyllis Smith Hollandsworth; loving daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Tommy Smith; grandchildren, Annabelle Smith and Tom Smith; brother, Foster Hollandsworth; special brother-in-law, Mike Smith; and nieces and nephews, Brian, Tracy, Richie, Danny, Becky, Joe, and Lavoy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 in the Indian Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lowell Hopkins, Elder Carlton Brown, and Elder William Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Captain George Quesenberry Cemetery with Military Rites by the United States Navy Funeral Honors. The family will receive friends from Noon until 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
