Wilburn, Robert Rudolph

Robert “Bob” Rudolph Wilburn, 98, of Spring Oak at Christiansburg, VA, formerly of Roanoke, VA., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Bob was born in Giles County, VA on April 3, 1926, and was a son of the late Hugh Wilburn and Etta Carper Wilburn. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 6 brothers.

Bob was a self-employed carpenter by trade for most of his life.

He is survived by many many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted, Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 1pm at the Givens Funeral Chapel in Pearisburg with a burial following in the Birchlawn Burial Park in Pearisburg. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.
