Update: Missing Montgomery County Man

UPDATE: This morning searchers located the body of Damien Sawyers. Police are investigating.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office-Virginia is attempting to locate a missing 33-year-old man. Damien Sawyers was last seen on February 14th, 2025, walking into a wooded area near a trailer park off 114 in Montgomery County, VA. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black jacket, a grey t-shirt, and red shoes. He has multiple tattoos.
