Meadows, Leon Hart

Leon Hart Meadows, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2026, at the Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA. Born May 4, 1950, on Powell Mountain, he was the son of the late Marie Jennings Meadows.

Leon was a man defined by his unwavering and deep-rooted faith. He lived out his devotion every single day, possessing a rare and beautiful boldness when it came to sharing the good news. He was never shy about spreading the gospel, eagerly talking about Jesus with everyone he met whether they wanted to hear it or not! Be it lifelong friends or complete strangers, his greatest desire was to see others experience the same redeeming love and grace that had transformed his own life.

Second, only to his faith, Leon loved his girlfriend Lisa, who was the center of his world. He also enjoyed drawing, listening to music, and being with family and friends, which he had no shortage of.
