Sutphin, William Glen

William “Italy” Glen Sutphin, 71 of Willis, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Vera S. Sutphin; son & daughter-in-law, Brian & Jennifer Sutphin; daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Dennis Huff; grandchildren, Brianna Sutphin and Dylan Huff; step-granddaughter, Hazel Quesenberry; brother & sister-in-law, James & Judy Sutphin; sisters & brothers-in-law, Ruth & Junior Russ, Becky & Keith Mott, Loretta & Tim Lewis, Kathy Richardson, Rosetta Ferris; brother at heart, Robert “Pete” Bolt; sisters-in-law, Barbara Hamm and Mary Surratt (Ricky); brothers-in-law, Bobby Sutphin (Lori) and Randall Sutphin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Leon Moles officiating. Interment will follow in the Alderman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the funeral home.
