Ratliff, Barry
Barry Ratliff, born September 15, 1953, passed away on September 5, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. He was the beloved son of the late Joyce Kirk Ratliff and the late Hubert Ratliff. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Clayton Ratliff.
Barry shared 46 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Selina Ratliff. Together they built a life rooted in love and family. He was a proud father to Kristin (Zack) Haas and Stephanie (John) Tessarzik. He especially cherished his role as “Grandpa” to his five grandchildren—Allison, Claire, Emily, Samantha, and Natalie—who brought him immense joy and pride.
He is also survived by his brother, Tim (Cathy) Ratliff, along with many special nieces, nephews, and family who loved him dearly.
Barry worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 39 years, where he was known as a dedicated and hardworking employee. Beyond his career, he was an avid hunter who found peace and joy in the outdoors.
Those who knew Barry will remember him as a man who placed his family above all else. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

To all family and friends of Barry, This very sad to hear. I went to school and went to Barry’s house growing up. We had great times with all of his neighbors also. Timmy I hope you would relay my sorrow to all of Barry’s friends and Family! There are not many of us CAMBRIA BOYS left. Barry is in JESUS’ arms now. NO more pain and suffering or tears! R.I.P. my good friend and we will see each other in HEAVEN.
