Slusher, Benny Franklin

Benny Franklin Slusher, age 91, of Knoxville, TN., formerly of Clarksville, TN and Pulaski, VA, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Benny retired from the Army as an E8 Master Sergeant and served in both Korean and Vietnam wars. Benny was a member of Clarksville Lodge No. 89. Nashville Scottish Rite, Al Menah Shriners, Tennessee Lodge of Research, National Sojourners, Past Grand Royal Patron of the Order of the Amaranth, member of Parthenon-Love Court No. 19, Order of the Amaranth; Mary Morrison 500 Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Benny is preceded in death by parents, James and Laura Belle Slusher, two sisters, and his first wife Pauline Slusher. Benny is survived by his loving wife, Betty Slusher.
