Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival Launch!
THIS THURSDAY 4pm is opening day for the Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival! Come watch the HOKIES vs MOUNTAINEERS game on the big screens at 7:30pm. Bring the whole family for Kids Zone activities, visit with farm animals, and explore the 5 acre corn maze. Then enjoy beer and wine on the terrace or in the barn.
FRIDAY 4-8pm we will have food trucks – Lazy Bulldog, Fat Bean Farm and Food Co, The Beet Box, and Daddy Q’s BBQ & Country Cuisine. Plus plenty of Arts & Crafts and Pop-up Boutique vendors for shopping on the weekends. Hayrides to a 10-acre pumpkin patch will begin and you can try your luck at our famous Bad AXE Throw.
SATURDAY 10am-5pm the rest of the farm activities come alive with music from Leslie Brooks and Al Coffey playing an eclectic mix of songs and instruments. Plus, get in on the “Name that Donkey” Contest and you could win! Food trucks – Fat Bean Farm and Food Co, Grandpa Ike’s Mini Donuts, Sam’s HotDog Stand, Bad Wolf BBQ, Aloha Eddie, and The Beet Box.
SUNDAY 10am-5pm features live music from Jake & Jess, along with plenty of entertainment like face painting, horseback rides, barrel train ride, giant slide, kids zip line and many games. Enjoy Sinkland’s ice cream & kettle corn, and food trucks – Fat Bean Farm and Food Co, The Beet Box, Daddy Q’s BBQ & Country Cuisine, and Grandpa Ike’s Mini Donuts.
We have been voted the Best Pumpkin Patch in Virginia, and have a variety of pumpkins and gourds for you to choose. Look forward to 5 more weekends of pumpkin fun through October 30!
