Sifford, Walter Douglas

Walter Douglas (Doug) Sifford went home to be with our Lord on August 10, 2023 and be reunited with his parents, brother and son. He was a retired Master Electrician with Jarrett Electric for many years.

He loved to hunt, tend to his garden or sit in the sun, tan himself and watch the deer and rabbit’s play. Mainly, he loved to be around his family, his sons, loving life partner of 40 years, his step kids, grandkids and his great grandchildren (they were his world). He loved each of them with his entire heart.

He was the son of the late Walter Alexander Sifford & Frances Ethel Martin Sifford. He was also preceded in death by his son, David Sifford and brother, Merrill C. Sifford.

Walter is survived by his sons – Darrell Sifford, Brian Sifford, grandson whom he raised – Jonathan Drake Sifford. His Loving Life Partner of 40 years – Brenda Bainbridge, her children he helped raise, Michelle Thompson, Angelia Bainbridge and Brian Bainbridge. His grandchildren – Kayla Sifford, Brandon Sifford, Jonathan Sifford, Katherine “Katie” Liddle, Alyssa Sifford, Taylor Sifford, Michael Hannah, Stephanie (David Brengel) Liddle, Jessie Bainbridge, Amelia (Michael Kendrick) Bainbridge and Brianna Jones. Great Grandchildren – Huntre, Logan, Annabelle, Braydan, Riley, Connor, Dawson, Addie, Carson and Brayley. Special friends and family – Bryant Gravley and family, Terry Connor and family, Carol Page and family, Roger Gravley and family and numerous other friends and family.

He was both loved /admired by so many others that will forever miss him.
