Franklin N. Perkins (Butch), 76 of Roanoke, VA formerly of Narrows, VA went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2023. Born to the late Nelson L Perkins (Wink) and Dorothy S. Robertson Perkins.
He loved to go fishing, race cars, listen to Bluegrass music, watch westerns, and visit with family and friends.
He was a mechanic for Ford Garage, Mitchener’s Chevrolet, John’s (Spaur) Auto, and a parts salesman/delivery driver for NAPA (Salem) and Bumper to Bumper.
He is survived by the love of his life for 55 years, Nelda L Perkins; his children, Kimberly Williams (Eddie), Cynthia Perkins, Franklin Perkins, Jr. (Raquel); grandchildren, Candace Lucas, LaToya McCulloch (Lance), Chase Haynes, Tyler, Haleigh, and Rylee Perkins; great-grandchildren, Christopher, Aiden, Aubrey, Hannah, Logan, and Gionni; sisters, Libby West, and Barbara Jean McGuire; brother, Bobby Perkins (Ed); and special friends, Harry and Deborah Eggleston.
Butch is preceded in death by sisters, Marie Hare, and Ann Smith; and a brother, Jay Perkins.

Butch helped me build my first car and was always willing to help anyone. I was fortunate to be a friend of the family and I offer my deepest sympathy to his entire family.
