Nighttime Drone Testing in Christiansburg

During the week of March 31, Wing, the drone delivery service, will be conducting tests to explore the possibility of extending their services to nighttime deliveries.
These tests will begin on Monday, March 31, with the potential to continue each day through the week, running from dusk until no later than 10 p.m., weather permitting.

Please note that the drones are specifically designed for package delivery, not for taking photos. They are equipped with low-resolution, black-and-white cameras primarily used for navigation and ensuring the safety and reliability of operations. There is no live video feed being broadcast to anyone, including the pilots overseeing the flights.
