New River Land Trust Transfers 239-Acres to Blacksburg 2

The New River Land Trust has transferred ownership of 239 acres of property on Brush Mountain, known as Stone-cutters Hollow, to the Town of Blacksburg. Simultaneously, the Virginia Outdoors Foundation placed the property in a permanent ‘Open Space Easement’, allowing the land to remain forever protected. The combination of the transfer of ownership and easement ensures that Stone-cutters Hollow will continue to be a publicly accessible, recreational resource for the Blacksburg area.
