Jones, Robert Allen

Robert Allen Jones, age 84, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Carilion Giles Community Hospital in Pearisburg, VA. Born June 9, 1941, in Bozoo, WV, he was the son of the late Charles Harrison “Harry” Jones and Avis Pennington Jones.

Robert was a member of the Bozoo Christian Church. He worked for many years as a meat cutter and later for Commonwealth Bolt. He loved being outdoors and working with his tractor. He also enjoyed woodworking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special uncle, Arnold Pennington.

Survivors include his loving wife, Reda Jones; one son, Robert Keith Jones and wife Melissa of NC; step son, James Harrison of Bozoo, WV; stepdaughters, Kandi Harrison and husband Leonard, Stacie Harrison, all of Bozoo, WV, and Sasha Harrison and fiancé Jack Handy of Ballard, WV; grandchildren, Tyler Jones and Timmy Jones; step grandchildren, Makayla Handy, Shawn Harrison, Jesse Harrison, Isabelle Gusler, Jackson Handy, Penelope Handy, and Marlin Handy; great grandchild, Bentley Jones; and step great grandchild, Jayceon Hines.
