Hill, William Edward
William Edward “Eddie” Hill, age 78 of Dublin passed away Wednesday, August 26,2 206 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born July 18, 1948 in Pulaski he was the son of the late Bennie & Bonnie Rupe Hill. He was also preceded in death by his sister Linda Sue Quesenberry; brothers Benny Hill, Sr. and Roger Dale Snow.
Eddie was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He is survived by his
Sons – Brian Hill – Salem, Tim Hill – Boones Mill, Chris Stafford – Pearisburg
Grandchildren – T.J, Aurora, Ethan, Natalie
Sisters – Marie Hill, Patty Edwards, Sandra (Toby) Fitgerald – Nelson County, Patricia (Joe) Pasilico – Pulaski
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM – Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Bower Funeral Home-Chapel, Pulaski. Interment will follow at the Mt. View U.M.C. Cemetery in Dublin.
The family will receive friends one hour before service time Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Mr. Hill was such a great neighbor and friend. He will be missed in the community.

Hate to hear about Mr. Hill passing away. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to him about two years ago concerning his dad, Benny Hill, and his music playing with James Covey and his Virginia Partners. Sending lots prayers and love to his family.
