Breeden, Jr., Robert Douglas

Robert D. Breeden, Jr., 62, of Christiansburg, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center. He retired from Volvo Trucks.

He was a wonderful father and had a genuine care for others. He leaves behind a legacy of family, love, friendships and countless memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Roberta Breeden; brother, Mike Breeden; and nephew, Robbie McManus.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kaleigh McManus; brother, David Breeden; sisters, Judy Breeden and Pam McManus; special niece, Amanda Kitchner (Carl); special nephew, Christian Kitchner; and nephews, Travis, Trenton, Danny and Daryl; and many other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Dora High Anchor of Faith Church (formerly Dora Highway Baptist Church), 1643 Dora Highway, Pulaski, VA 24301. The family will received friends prior to the service beginning at 12 Noon.
