Heat Advisory in Effect Today

Heat Advisory in effect today from 11AM to 8PM. The high air and dew point temperatures will result in heat index values up to 105 degrees in the Virginia Piedmont. Heat related illnesses are possible with these temperatures and the public is encouraged to stay hydrated and take precautions when outside.
