Hamblin, Lillie Adkins
Lillie Adkins Hamblin, 96, of Belspring, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, August 7, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. “Bobby” Hamblin, Sr.; her parents, Jesse and Imogene Adkins; sister, Alma Whitson; and her brothers, Donald and Jack Adkins.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Danny Hamblin (Alice), Keith Hamblin (Becky), all of Belspring, and Dennis Hamblin (Jean) of Wilkesboro, N.C.; grandson and his wife, Alan Hamblin (Beth) of Canton, GA; granddaughter and her husband, Melissa Beth Macy (Chuck) of Belspring; great-grandchildren, Noah Hamblin of Canton, GA, Isaac Cooke of Belspring, Daniel and AJ Cooke of Wilson, N.C., and Josie Cooke of Raleigh, N.C.; niece and her husband, Annjel Amador (Louie) of Pulaski; and many other family members and special friends.
There will be a private graveside service for the family at a later date.

Danny you are in my thoughts and prayers during this time. After reading the comments about your mother I better understand why you have always been such a wonderful person.

I met Ms Lillie when I started going to Walton Pentecostal Holiness Church in February 2003. She was always so kind to me, complimenting me on one thing or another. She was an awesome prayer warrior, loved singing praises to our Lord, even wrote a song. She always had a testimony for the Lord. I loved her and she will be sorely missed. Rest well, Ms. Lillie. You’ve ran your race, and very well, and you now have your reward! You will be missed!
