Elliott, Elinda Stevens

Elinda Bird Elliott, 70 of Pearisburg, VA., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Linda was born on August 3, 1955, in Narrows, VA., and was the daughter of the late Douglas James Stevens and Lucille Clemmons. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Steven Stevens.

She was a former employee of the Oxford Sewing Factory in Pearisburg and a former employee of the Celanese Corp. in Narrows. Linda loved going to the beach, her dogs, was the chaperon and taxi driver for all of her grandchildren and was a diehard Alabama music fan.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Donald Edward Elliott, daughter, Kimberly Snider (Estil) of Pearisburg, son, Sam Bird, Jr. (Holly Goodnough) of Coeburn, 8 grandchildren, Jordan McGuyer (Makenna), Logan McGuyer, Logan Snider (Autumn), Kelsey Snider (Alicia), Micanna Harrell (Austin), Ashleigh Call, Zachary Bird, Chloe Bird and 7 great grandchildren, Hallie, Tucker, Eastin, Addy, Hudson, baby McGuyer, Rylan, Kayden and Colton.

As per Linda’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no service.
