Dillon, Marke W.

Marke W. Dillon, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at the Lindside Healthcare Center in Lindside, WV. Born March 26, 1942, at the homeplace on Mill Hill in Peterstown, WV, he was the son of the late Mark M. and Flora Blanche Hobbs Dillon.

Marke worked for many years at Brad Ragan Tire in Radford, VA. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. He also enjoyed loading shells, shooting guns, working, his cats, and cutting wood. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Meadows Dillon; and siblings, Rosaline Pack and Dallas Dillon.

Survivors include his sons, Elwin Dillon and wife Sommer, Malcolm Dillon and wife Tina, Foley Dillon and wife Terri, and Anthony Dillon and wife Valerie, all of Peterstown, WV; daughter, Tammy Harrell and husband Ray of Forest Hill, WV; grandchildren, Thomas, Kimberly, Levi, Seth, Kandis, Kayla, Kacie, Lucas, Logan, Baylee, Noah, Jacob, Bella, Brett, Ashley, Brandy, and Crystal; and sixteen grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Peterstown Cemetery in Rich Creek, VA, with Pastor Pete Dunford officiating.
