Boland, Rita Burk

Rita Burk Boland, age 74, of Radford, VA. died Saturday September 13, 2025. She was born in Christiansburg, on December 28, 1950, to the late Clara Burk.

Rita was a registered nurse, and was the director of nursing at St. Albans, where she worked for over 40 years.

She is survived by her husband, Lynn Boland; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Kate Boland; grandchild, Audrey Boland; and a sister, Peggy Surface.

A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 pm before the service.
