Accident with Injury in Blacksburg

On 10/29/2023 at approximately 1128am, the Blacksburg Police Department responded to a motor accident with injuries at the intersection of Patrick Henry Dr. and Givens Lane. A vehicle traveling West on Patrick Henry crossed four lanes of traffic and struck a stopped Blacksburg Transit bus head on. The driver of the vehicle was transported via Lifeguard to Roanoke Memorial Hospital and the bus driver was transported to Lewis Gale Montgomery. No passengers or pedestrians were injured in the collision.
