Huffman, William

William “Bill” Huffman, age 86, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the Lindside Healthcare Center in Lindside, WV. Born July 13, 1940, in Elmore, WV, he was the son of the late Buster and Edith Ormondy Huffman.

Bill was an owner/operator in auto sales. He loved working and fishing. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ross Huffman; and two brothers, Nicholas and Larry Huffman.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 67 years, Deann Rae Ross Huffman; one son, Paul Lewis Huffman and wife Michelle of Peterstown, WV; grandchildren, Natasha Chinault and husband Derrick, and Christopher Huffman; great grandchildren, Harley Huffman, Christopher Paul Huffman, Jaden Taylor, Scott Walker and wife Cari, Dara Howard and husband Timmy, Cheyenne Walker, and Brady Chinault; brothers, Tommy Huffman of SC, Benny Huffman and wife Sandra of Charleston, WV, and Mason Huffman of Salisbury, MD; one sister, Tena Church and husband Gynn of MD; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
