Simpkins, Jeffrey Wayne

Jeffrey Wayne “Moe” Simpkins, age 69, of Wytheville, VA passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026. He was born March 22, 1956 in Giles County, son of the late Elmer and Dorothy Hopkins Simpkins. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Simpkins and Roger Simpkins.

Survivors include his wife, Roxana Simpkins; three daughters, Amanda Simpkins of Vinton, Brandy Simpkins of Dublin, Kisha and Matt McBride of Wytheville; a son, Chance “Bubby” Earhart of Wytheville; three sisters, Brenda Carson of Radford, Donna Lindberg of Radford, Sue and Dean Justice of Missouri; two brothers, Bill and Wilma Simpkins of Dublin and David Allen Simpkins of Chatham, VA; five grandsons, Blake McBride, Skyler McBride, Phoenix McBride, Zelik Earhart and Jordan Montgomery. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026 at Max Meadows Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Danny Helmondollar officiating. American Legion Post # 9 will conduct military rites. The family will receive friends one hour before service time.
