O’Roark, Sheila Boylan

Sheila Diane O’Roark, age 79, of Peterstown, WV, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born March 29, 1946, in Des Moines, IA, she was the daughter of the late Charles T. Boylan and Helen Boylan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James O’Roark; brothers, Michael, James, and Jeffery Boylan; son-in-law, Mark Long; and great granddaughter, Jalynn Marie.

Sheila attended First Baptist Church in Rich Creek, VA. She loved having her grandchildren around and loved baking with them.

She is survived by daughters, Michelle London, Jennifer Whetten (Chad), Anna Mann (Warren), and Jamie Long; sister, Sara Anderson; brother, Mark Boylan; grandchildren, Chad Kimberland, Jimmy O’Roark, Ashley Mullins (Bill), Amanda Long, Taylor Trundle (Katelyn), Taylor Rodriquez (Drew), and McKenzie Harless (Andy); great grandchildren, Claire, Emmarie, C.J., and Ethan Kimberland, Ryan, Chase, Kayleigh, J.J., and Waylon Mullins, Lamyah Bartley, Willow Ceman, Weston Rodriguez, and Bentley, Braedon, and Grayson Harless.

A time of fellowship and celebration of Sheila’s life for friends of the family and church family will be Friday, January 16, 2026, from 3-6 PM at her home at 504 Hillcrest Estates Road, Peterstown, WV 24963.
