Farmer, Patricia Pannell

Patricia “Pat” Diane Farmer, 74, of Radford, passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Pat was born June 26, 1951, in Radford, Virginia, the daughter of the late Morris (Moose) William Pannell and Clovis Roberts Pannell. Pat was preceded in death by a baby brother, Johnny Michael Pannell; and brother-in-law, Kay Campbell.

Pat graduated from Dublin High School and New River Community College. She retired from Radford University with 40 years of service. Pat was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Manuel Murrell Farmer; daughter, Shannon Farmer Ritter and husband Michael; son, Shane Farmer and wife Shelly; sister, Sue Campbell; niece Teresa Lowe; grandchildren Justin Ritter (Taylor), Morgan Shoun (Jacob), Brett Farmer, and Blake Farmer; great-granddaughter, Annalyse Ritter; and many many special friends.

The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. with Pastor Laura Beth Howell officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Dublin.
