Huddleston, Chase Alexander
Chase Alexander Huddleston, a vibrant soul whose laughter could light up any room, left this world far to soon on September 13, 2025, at the tender age of 19. Born on October 7, 2005, Chase embodied a spirit of joy and authenticity that left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
From a young age, Chase was known for his infectious laughter and a heart full of love. He had a zest for life that was evident in every aspect of his being. Whether he was playing music at full volume, singing, or dancing, Chase found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His passion for creativity and expression manifested in many ways, including his love for video games, four-wheelers. Chase was an extremely talented baseball player.
A devoted son and brother, Chase held a special bond with his mother, Sarah Quesenberry, who he cherished deeply and considered his best friend. He would often call her, regardless of the hour, to share a laugh or a moment of his day. He had a bond with his father, Shawn Quesenberry that could not be broken. His relationship with his brothers, Mason and Trenton Quesenberry, provided him with endless camaraderie and memories filled with joy and playful banter. Chase had a special way of picking on his grandmother, Curtis and Marianne Dean, actions that radiated his mischievous spirit and loving nature.
Chase’s love for animals and his fun-loving demeanor brought happiness to those around him. He cherished moments spent with friends and family, always embracing laughter and adventures, from attending haunted houses to exploring the great outdoors. His nurturing character and genuine personality endeared him to many, making him a beloved friend.
As we gather to celebrate the life of Chase, we invite all those who knew him to honor his memory. A memorial service will take place on September 20, 2025, at Harbor of Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church, located at 2720 Roanoke Street in Christiansburg, VA. The service commences at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Craig Reed officiating. We invite you to join us in remembering a life so beautifully lived and the joy he brought to our lives.
Chase Alexander Huddleston may no longer walk among us, but his spirit will forever echo in our hearts, reminding us to embrace each moment with laughter, love, and the most genuine of souls. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to a local animal shelter in his honor.

Prayers

Prayers for his mother and father as the days ahead are going to be something so dark and sinister one can not simply comprehend unless one has actually experienced burying a child first hand ( I have so I feel I have the right to speak on things other shouldn’t ) . I pray for both their peace , faith and courage. I will be blunt and honest the heartache never gets even a tiny bit better , it will never get easier as matter of fact the days are sometimes harder 2 years later but what I can tell you is you will learn to live with the heartache , the tears will soon not be as often , the memories will one day make you smile instead of cry yet there will still be moments at the oddest time from a sound , a song , a word or a smell that make you hit your knees years later in tears missing your baby boy but the days do help with making it possible to go on with life for all those who still need you and because your son would want you to . I did not personally know chase but my kids did and I know my son Liam is welcoming him in heaven with open arms and showing him the ropes . My son Liam and Michael both are . I don’t know you two but I do know the pain you are feeling and the emptiness you are feeling that no one can comprehend and for that I’m sorry I don’t wish this pain on no one not even my worst enemy but he is in a better place I truly have to believe this . My son gives me signs all the time that he is ok and having a blast and I know chase will you , you just have to keep your eyes open .
