Sheppard, Edna Jones
Edna Marie Sheppard finally won the ultimate lottery with winning numbers 112424. Her victory came when she went to be with the Lord on November 24, 2024, at the age of 87. Her earnings will last an eternity.
Edna was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. In the mosaic of Edna’s life there were many beautiful pieces in which she found joy. Among them were the comfort of reading God’s Word, the beauty of her roses, a peaceful view of the ocean, the glow of a sunset, taking a chance on the lottery, the bright red hue of a cardinal, decorating her holiday table, anything chocolate with a Coke, watching her “soaps” and listening to Elvis.
Edna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Terrell Sheppard, who affectionately called her “Maria”; her parents, Lee and Nettie Jones; and her beloved grandson, Clay Thomas Scott. Edna is survived by her three children: Terri Scott, Angela Sheppard and Barry Sheppard; her son-in-law, Thomas Scott; her sister, Geneva Kipps; her brother, Roy Jones; her sister-in-law, Betty Watson; her grandchildren: Amanda Scott, Erika Demme (Zach), Sammi Sheppard, Lincoln Sheppard (Ava); her great-grandchildren: Evelyn Sheppard and Livia Demme; and many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
A private service will be held for family. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Change Foundation changefoundationforclay.org
