Keister, Virginia Landrum

Virginia Landrum Keister, age 95, from Blacksburg Va., died, Thursday, October 31, 2024. She was born on February 25, 1929, to the late Guy Morgan Landrum and Jessie Friddle Landrum.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ranold Keister; daughter, Betty Grissom; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Vaught Keister; sons, Donald, Jimmy, Bobby, and Howard “Peanut” Keister; sister, Margaret Roberts; and brother, Guy M. Landrum, Jr. Sisters Mabel Long and Shirley Shaw

Survivors include daughters, Bonnie (Duke) Sarver, Jessie (Bert) Dowdy, Rose Keister, and Carolyn Jean (Tommy) Dunlap; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Fain Keister; son Ronald “Boo” (Lisa) Keister; She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
