Garcia, Ameiah Lunaraye

On April 4th, 2024, sweet Ameíah Lunaraye Garcia, 1, of Christiansburg, passed away peacefully in mommy’s arms.

She is survived by her parents, Janessa Skipper, and Cruz Garcia; sisters, Alyran and Iyonna Garcia; uncles, Jamal Skipper, Ernesto Garcia (Nichole), Fabian Garcia (Chelsea), Hector Garcia, William Garcia; aunt, Rita Garcia; grandparents, Doreatha Hendricks, Irma Valdez, Javier Garcia, Cabayo Skipper; great grandmother, Sandra Hendricks; great aunts and uncles, Debbie Akers (Gary), Mike Meadows (Debbie), Billy Meadows (Kaye); cousins, Selena Amelia, Josselyn, Emanuel, Yovani, Ezekiel, Mazir, Thalia, Tatiana and numerous others. Also surviving are friends of the family, Adam Jr., Kela Horsey, Vanessa Atkins, Chelsea Wray, and Larry Crosier.

Beautiful, Sassy, sweet, Funny and smart all the words to describe my whole heart, so little but yet so strong your fight with cancer is far gone. A child of God I know you are, forever my baby we won’t be far apart. – Love mommy.

A funeral service will be held on Friday April 12, 2024 at 2PM at Gardner Funeral Home with Chaplin Dr. Robyn Angle officiating. Interment will follow in Huffville cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to services from 12pm-2pm. The family has requested if possible to wear either white or pink to honor Ameíah.
